The Inworld Marketing Manager is responsible for creating notices/notecards and engaging people inworld to promote our events. This includes keeping our event groups active before and during events, sharing designer/blogger content, finding new advertising opportunities, maintaining notice rights in advertising groups, and establishing/maintaining relationships with media partners and other businesses.
You must be motivated, able to manage projects without constant prompting, work under pressure, have a working knowledge of written and spoken English, and be truly passionate about sharing events in SL with other people. You must also be willing to use Discord for team communication. Good communication and reliability are important. We understand RL comes first, but we do need someone who can keep us updated and follow through on event promotions.
This position requires the IMM to be available at specific times (between the hours of 8AM – 12:30PM PST/SLT in the week leading up to an event opening) , while during the rest of the times is much more flexible.
